Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend NewMUN 2026?

NewMUN is open to all students from Class 5 to Class 12. You don't need prior MUN experience — just enthusiasm and a desire to learn!

What is the dress code?

Western business formal (suits, blazers, formal dresses) is required for all committee sessions throughout the conference.

Will food be provided?

Yes! Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and snacks are available for all registered delegates on both conference days. Vegetarian and dietary options are available.

What's the last date to register?

Registration for Delegates closes on 4th October 2026. For Chairs registrations close by September 27th.

Will there be awards?

Yes! Awards include Best Delegate, Best Speaker, Most Diplomatic Speaker, Best Researcher, Best Position Paper and two Honourable Mentions for each committee.

Can I participate if I've never done MUN before?

Absolutely! NewMUN is beginner-friendly. We provide training sessions and resources to help first-time delegates prepare.
